Canopy of green shades the zigzag path

...more squirrels

The last days has seen an explosion of flora transforming the dark forest into a kaleidoscope of greens. I don’t think I have ever experienced such a rapid change in seasons. April showers, spring floods, nowhere in sight and did I hear the radio warning of forest fires yesterday … in April? I walk down the zigzag path into town but despite plenty of sun it is still very cool in the forest. This silhouette of a red squirrel was caught just as I was exiting the forest on the edge of Bad Wildbad.
