I visit Calw this morning a small town on the River Nagold not far from Bad Wildbad. The half-hour bus ride takes you on a climb through the forest out of the Enz valley and down into the next valley. Calw is probably most famous as the birthplace of Hermann Hesse (1877-1962), poet, writer and in 1946 winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature. The town is quaint with beautiful cobbled streets that are mostly traffic free. In the summer Calw ‘rocks’ and this year Jethro Tull will be visiting. Remember Jethro Tull?
