In the Kurpark the sound of opera singers rehearsing for the Rossini opera mingles with the echo of tannoys as they announce the results of the Downhill cup bike championship. It makes for a surreal Sunday. A clash of cultures fighting for dominance and even the weather joins in with the occasional growl of thunder.
