While waiting for the shuttle bus in Bad Wildbad yesterday I take refuge from the cold in the Haus des Gastes (House for guests). The excellent Marcel Baluta ensemble plays here regularly in the afternoons and it is an event best not missed. During the summer months the orchestra made up of musicians originating from all over Europe often play outside in the pavilion and sitting in the sun listening to them is a wonderful experience. Also inside the Haus des Gastes there is ‘Kiwikino’ a quaint cinema where the latest films can be seen for a few Euros. Although the interior of the old building has a rather musty atmosphere there are still some impressive features and guests can wander round freely inspecting the rooms and exhibits. Weather today ‘nasskalt’.
